The tiny peach tree is in flower!

Bright pink delicate petals waving in the wind on this blustery April day.

Clever tree. It self seeded. Discovered and planted in a pot by Lorenzo and nurtured by his shed.
Planted out in the olive grove last year it fruited five delicious peaches, a near miracle as this is not peach country. They just don't do well here. Apricots and plums, yes.  Peaches, no.

So we will watch out little tree attentively and hope…
